Airfare War in Hawaii between Aloha and Hawaiian Airlines

Are you planning on traveling in Hawaii before the end of the year? Well, there is a a inter island fare war going on between Aloha Airways and Hawaiian Airlines.

From KESQ:

To get the cheap fares on Aloha and Hawaiian, travelers must book the first flight in the morning out and the last flight of the day to return. The first flight typically leaves around 5 a-m.

Hawaiian’s fare of 39-dollars-and-50 cents is good for the first flight each day from Honolulu to Kahului, Lihue, Kona and Hilo. The return on the last flight of the day costs the same, but if travelers want to take other flights they must pay full price.

Aloha says it will match Hawaiian’s offer.

Aloha started the latest fare competition yesterday when it announced that passengers who book the first flight of the day to Neighbor Islands could return free on the last flight of the day.

Both fare offers are good until December 31st.
